    For those wearing hair flowers, where'd you buy yours from? Bridal store? Etsy (what vendor)? DIY?

    I just snagged a simple flower from the craft store. But there's TONS of cute ones on Etsy...just don't pay too much for one.

    I bought mine a loooooong time ago (the first acessory I just knew I wanted to wear) and it seems like her pricing has gone up a bit.  The flower I bought is absolutely divine.

    I bought my jewelry from this etsy seller, but since then she has started putting out some great hair flowers.

    @abbyful:

    I've bought a few hair flowers from etsy from various vendors, but so far the nicest, sturdiest, most professional ones have come from a seller called percyhandmade. They ship from Australia for a fairly reasonable price and are middle of the road--not the most expensive out there, but neither are they the cheapest.

    One of my best friends made mine! I'll show my inspiration photo (it was almost a $60 flower!) and mine--we spent less than $5 TOTAL.

    (I apologize if the pictures come out huge, I tried to downsize them, hopefully it works this time!)

    I made mine - I bought a cheap flower at Michaels and hot glued it to a comb - it cost less than $5 and you could add little rhinestones if you wanted to

    I bought mine from Handle and Spout, www.handlespout.com ,the same place that Mrs. Dolphin got hers from. The company is owned by two 20- or 30-something girls who were interns/employees for Martha Stewart. I think their stuff is great!!!

    I originally got the cluster of three white flowers ($35), then I also bought the three pastel flowers ($35), and I am combining them to get a look like this (but not as many flowers, I'm doing three total). I know you can also just get one larger white/ivory flower ($20) if that's the look you're going for. They are great for custom orders, and they make the flowers in almost any color, so you could also get something for your bridesmaids to wear!

    I don't know if you have a Sam Moon around you, but I got mine there for $9 :-).  Each store is different because they have different crafters bring in their jewelry/accessories.  (I couldn't find my particular flower on their site, but I went in person and got it!!)

    Would it be in bad taste to contact some of you bees to see if I can buy your flowers after the ceremony? I've seen some cute things on here.

    @franks.katie: I bought my earrings from there too!

    FYI on the hair flower I bought. It was originally 6"+, but I took the outer petals off to make it 4". I loved the center jewel, but the flower was rather stiff. If I had to do over again. I would buy the flower for the center and maybe make something that was a little softer.
