My hair stylist recommends I wear it up, but I REALLY want to wear it down. I am going to make her do two different styles when its trial time.

@melizabe:  I actually got married July 27 and it was quite warm in houston…I had mine half down and curled and it actually held up really well (And my hair does not normally hold well)!

Cut it off :).

I know pretty much no one does that, mine has been short our entire relationship so it is staying short for the wedding.

i have naturally very curly hair, so i’ll be keeping the natural curl and doing some sort of updo. doing loose curls would become a complete DISASTER in the heat for me. giant frizz ball.

something along these lines, dont have my trial for a couple more months.

I plan to be in the pool until I’m dragged to get ready. I’ll leave my hair curly w an updo like a slightly more polished version of the style below. I might wear it down curly for reception but pics will probably be better if I leave it up.

I’m determined to wear mine down!! I have to have my hair up all the time because i’m a nursing student and for work and I HATE having my hair up.

I’m thinking half up half down, was thinking about curling it, but probably will just keep it straight. It’s a relaxed wedding and I want to look and feel like myself (:

I got married in June, but I have a lot of hair so I was really concerned about what would be the best way to wear it. I ended up wearing mine up in curls so that I’d know it would stay in place and out of the way the entire time. I absolutely loved it.

Originally I was all about wearing my hair down, but so many factors have swayed me towards up.  My hair doesn’t hold up well in the heat, it will help keep me cool, up will look good with my strapless dress, and above all, my FI loves my hair up.  I’m going to keep it soft and romantic, but up off my neck.

@EatLiftWed:  LOVE it! This is super similar to what I currently have :).

My initial inspiration was Kiera Knightley in the movie Domino, then I went shorter because my hair has a slight wave to it and I don’t like straightening it every morning :p.

Edit: what is your plan for the wedding? I got a cute head band that I am adding a birdcage to. Probably cut the netting off later if I want to keep the head band on after.

@REchick:  I toyed with the idea of a fo-hawk with an applique on the side (a la P!nk) but currently plan on keeping it down and slightly swept to the side.

My mom and I made a birdcage veil / headband combo that I plan on wearing for the ceremony and removing the veil for the reception 🙂
