I think it looks pretty. If you are planning on getting a trim anyway, go for it. But it does not look fake at all!
Here's another shot of the hair. My mom is very traditional and seems to think that I look like a porn-star with this hair.

I think your hair looks great. Are you planning on wearing your hear down? Maybe once you go to a hair appointment you can show your mom picks of how it would look that day.
No. Too short hair will make the dress look more bare. This is lovely and it being longer is fabulous.
I sometimes don't like hair up when wearing a strapless dress or having shorter hair with it. Half up and half down might be good too but you have a nice look going on! Very lovely!
I guess I'm not used to all the hair since I got extensions put in. But my MOH said that I should just go for it since it's for the wedding and would look great in pics.

Does your hair hold a curl? Mine is stick-straight and about the same length. I am trying to decide whether I could wear it down like that. The last time I had my hair done as a BM, it was hairsprayed so much it felt like a helmet. But it looked good, which is really all that matters.
I think the length is great. Personally I would wear it half up, but that's up to you. Just out of curiosity, does your mom have a lot of experience with pornstar hairstyles ;)
I personally would like it cut just a little bit, but that's a personal preference. It definitely does NOT look like a porn-star's hair! I think you'll look beautiful regardless of how long your hair is!
You're hair is beautiful! I really don't think that only an inch off would change the look of your hair very much, but I looove your long hair!
LMAO no you do not look porn star-ish. but if it needs to be trimmed it will help with frizz . I think it looks lovely , but i've got super long hair myself!
I also have stick-straight hair bubblybride. Trust me, with A LOT of hairspray, it has worked. I don't think I'd try to attempt the hairstyle if I were to have a wedding by the beach or in humid conditions. I'm just hoping that it won't be too windy by the golf course we're getting married at. Just a week and I'll be a MRS!!!
Since when does long hair make someone a porn-star? I don't think it looks fake at all, it looks beautiful! If you are happy with it's length, then I think it's perfect!
Love your hair! I don't think cutting it by an inch will make any difference. Just keep it as it is. Or, you could cut it and make your mom happy - although, really, would an inch make a ton of difference?
Honestly, with hair as long and pretty as yours, cutting off one inch isn't going to change how it looks at all! I'd go for a trim, just because I always feel like my hair feels so much better and healthier after I have the ends taken off and my hair re-shaped. I feel like a new woman!
I think my mom wants to chop it off by more than an inch. Probably about two.
I think you should leave it as is. It's so pretty! I wish my hair would look like that if I grew it out that long.

Hair extensions really make a difference and can really transform any person. I really have fine, thin hair but with these clip ons that I got at Sally Beauty Supply, I feel like Miss America in a wedding dress.

I am also wearing a strapless and growing my hair (it was in layers before) to a length close to how yours is now! I think that is the perfect length for a strapless gown. You look amazing.
I'm with your mom- I think it's a little too long. 2 inches would still be lovely and feminine and wouldn't overpower your dress.
I think your hair looks beautiful, but if you feel the need to make your mom happy, an inch off will still look gorgeous.
I did end up taking an inch off before the wedding and the pictures still turned out great. I do wish though that I took more time to look at my hair because by the end of the day, I had a lot of stray hairs everywhere on my forehead (from sweating too much).

Do you think I should cut an inch off from my hair for the wedding based on the pic?My mom seems to think it's too long and looks too fake.
