This is what i have decided for my hair since i hace similar hair but i imagine that any one of you can do it if you want to with a curling iron and lots of spray! Beautiful -no?

Very pretty. And you are right that pretty much all you need is a curling iron and lots of hair spray. And also lots of bobby pins! I would make sure to practice before though so that you aren't too stressed out on your wedding day!
yes my dress has a lot on organza draping with a waterfall skirt. modified a line but very loose free and soft. and i have curly hair almost like this lady here so im hoping a lot of spray will keep it in line hahhaa. i just ordered a really nice pearl and crystal hairvine and pins for it too on etsy.

My FI always wants me to wear my hair down, I always want it up so it's out of the way and off my neck. I figured half up, half down was a good compromise :)

If I A- had long hair and B- looked good with long hair, I would have a hair style like this for my wedding! Beautiful!
I had the hairstylist put my hair down instead of half up and half down, which I think would have been too messy by the end of the wedding especially after dancing. It's normally straight, but she put it in hot rollers before using a large curling iron then hairsprayed it like crazy.

I have natural ringlet curls so I want to do half up and half down too. I'm going for some little french braids weaved in... I love the bride's hair in Mamma Mia...
well hairvines are so pretty peeking out of curly hair! ill try to insert a pic of what im having made by that lady online for the 35 - mind you shes also giving me the set of matching pins - all custom too in freshwater pearls and real crystals!

@Fyrefox: I wanted the same hair!! It's definitely one of my favorite, along with this one - I'll probably try both and then see (although I have a rhinestone headband to work with as well)

My hair has a bit tighter curls - like the girl i picked so it seemed natural - and it really suits the softness of my dress i think. the earrings and necklace i decided to have made on etsy by a really talented lady too. it is a really thin silver chain with...ah let me show you LOL. feel free to message me if you want her emal too.
your style looks really pretty too yrrete. what kind of tiara did you get? I saw tons on ebay then i ended up opting for the posted hair i put up top. I cant wait to see the hair vine. (I ordered my veil on ebay too) Im getting married in august so i really need my hair off my neck more that you i guess. my hair is so fine...it will go totally crazy frizzy and curly in the heat so i may as well just let it be natural.

oops wrong pic - but this was the other one i was thinking of doing too. and heres the pick of the necklace and earrings, shes doing them in silver with a crystal mixed into each piece and in the necklace a matte glass flower and then on the back of the neck a long chain that will hang down my back with little pearls and crystals on it - strapless dress... hopefully it turns out like I picture inmy head!!! lol i will post it when i get it.

You guys should go see her spot in Etsy - shes got this great eye for mixing antique pieces into these really lovely sets. soo darn pretty and sophisticated in a quiet way. love her!

yes i thought about that too. i think that i might get those clip in hair extentions put in and have it more full on the down half. at least that way im not really worried about it too much. my friend had them put in for her wedding and they looked so fab.
This is the email for the lady that makes the beautiful hair jewelry and crystal bridal bouquets in case more of you want this. She is very very reasonable. But she gets booked up fast with all the work because of this so get your orders in with Id say at least 60 days for the order right now. Mine wont be sent till January.

Welcome fyrefox, my commonly-curly-haired friend! I am also going the halvies route with my curls, but I want my hair out of my face w/o losing volume. I'm doing more of a really wide pony. The vines will look awesome, but I can't imagine trying to get them out of your hair at the end of the night!
Half up half down is so romantic looking. I have curly hair too but it's really loose curls, I might have to try something like this.
i really don't know what i'm doing w/ my hair yet=( i'm really picky! i have super curly shoulder length hair, it's tough finding styles that would work!
