I'm getting married in long island & there are sooo many hair/makeup artists to choose from - I have no idea where to start & how to choose.

Since trials are kind of expensive - I'm hoping to get some personal recommendations.

@sagbride:I am having a hair and makeuo trial in Riverhead, Long Island this Saturday - my wedding is the same day as yours in Wading River, Long Island. I live in Boston and I am going to the place my mom goes to - that's how I am starting...are you anywere near there? I can let you know how I do...

@sagbride: hi there - I wouldn't recommend the place I went to - I have to get another hair trial for sure - as far as makeup - I am really considering doing it myself - I didn't like the airbrushing.
