Hair & make-up trials for out-of-town bride

The trial run is incredibly important……IF they do not have an extensive portfolio.

I’m a part-time MUA having a destination wedding, so obviously a trial is not an option and I’ll be doing my own.

I really encourage a trial, but I understand it may not be possible. That puts the burden of doing your homework squarely on your shoulders. Get resumes and portfolios from every artist you talk to. If they do not have one, I would probably eliminate them right off the bat.

totally agree im also a hair and makeup artist and a destination bride doing my own!

pleanty of research maybe have a chat to them over the phone and really get a feel for the person as i feel its also important to mesh well. Is their anyone you could get a recommendation from?
