Weddingbee boards

HI Ladies!

I'm still searching for a hair person for my June wedding next year.  So far, most people I have found cost 200 for bride and 150ish for bridesmaids which I just can't swing :-(  Does anyone have any affordable suggestions?  Traveling haristylist or salon recommendations both welcome!! 

Also has anyone noticed that salons will price a "bridal updo" or a "bridesmaid updo" or "bridesmaid blow out" at a much higher cost than a normal updo or blowout???  Is there a reason for this or is this just price gauging? Is there any reason to tell people that you're a bride/bridesmaid and have to pay the higher price?
