You gals have been so helpful throughout this whole journey, and I’m coming so close to putting everything together except for my hair. I went for a trial hair and makeup as shown below. I love my makeup and probably won’t change a thing, but im still open to suggestions. As for the hair, I thought I wanted it all up and away from my face, but I don’t think it really suits my face. I have seen that a lot of plus size brides opt for the half up half down look. Could you reccommend any styles that might suit my face since I won’t get a chance to do another trial again before my wedding?
This is after my hair and makeup trial
This is what the back of the updo sort of looks like.
Should I keep the updo and change the front to this?
Or would this half up/half down look better on me?

You look beautiful!! I can understand the worry with hair up because I am a plus size bride and feel totally exposed when indent have a fringe. I think you look great on the top photo, but it’s your big day! You want to feel great and look great. If you would feel better with half up or some hair to frame the face then do it 🙂 I’m having a conundrum with my glasses, i wear them 50% of the time and they make my face look thinner but do i want them on my photos!? Lol

I’m bumping this again because my wedding is this Saturday and I still haven’t decided on a look to show my stylist. Please help!

MissIsa: I like the second picture you showed with the original back. Half up looks nice, but if your anything like me you’ll get hot. I personally like a side part with some pieces down so it looks loose and less tight. What kind of dress do you have?

I agree with jordmc24, I like the sideswept look being a bit loose. I have toyed with the idea of leaving my hair down or at least half, but I know it’ll end up in a ponytail by the reception if I do that. I think if you stick with the original low updo, but leave a few pieces loosely styled around your face, it’ll be perfect.
