@Cem0930:  Hey hun! Were you wanting a messy, assymetrical, updo look?  If so, then you got what you were hoping for.  The right side does not look as nice as the left side of your head.  If I were you, I’d probably take your Mom’s recommendation and look for a different stylist and then make your decision.  It wouldn’t hurt.

@Cem0930:  I understand.  I’ve been going to the same gal for over 10 years and I would’ve felt like I was “abandoning” her if I went to someone else on our big day.  However, she will admit that she hates doing updo’s (I luckily didn’t have one).  If I were you, I’d give your stylist honest feedback.  Tell her what you really liked about it (the smoothness of the one side) and what you’d like to see differently on the big day (possibly tease the top a bit to give it some fullness).  Hope this helps some.  I know how stressful it can be.

i personally think it looks really unpolished, there is alot of fly-aways. I would try someone else.

Personally I think the bun kind of dangles down in a weird way when I look at it from the side.  I don’t like that aspect of it at all, sorry.  I think the top and front areas look good though.

IMHO I think it looks sloppy, I don’t really like any of it, least of all the bun part hanging down in the back.. Sorry. Did you take her a pic of what you wanted? Maybe write down what you like and what you don’t like about it and take it to her. I just had a hair trial too and it looked good but wasn’t exactly what I wanted (too “perfect” looking, waaay too much hairspray and too crunchy, and the bobby pins started coming out 3 hrs later – I was going for loose and natural) and when I gave the stylist my feedback she thanked me and gave me some suggestions for what I can do to help her but she’s working on how to fix my concerns. If yours is a good stylist she’ll do the same. Good luck!

I would try another stylist. I’m not sure if she’s new to hairstyling but it doesn’t really look like a professional did it. If you’re paying someone it should be what you want it to be.

Hi dear,

it looks really soft and romantic…but somehow…unfinished.

I would go see another stylist.
