I love it with no veil, you definitely don't need it! I was just trying to picture a sideswept look like that with one....I don't think I've seen it before.
@quin24: my ears aren't big, but they kinda stick out, so I didn't want something pinned to far back so that I could feel like dumbo on my wedding day. I really wanted to the side to take away from that, and I felt that was much more important thana veil!
