Hair trial doesn't look at all like the picture I gave the stylist…

I say find another stylist.. Seems very amateur that she couldn’t replicate the style.

Caitiexoxo: At least it’s just the trial! You still have time. Also, don’t forget that blondes and brunettes can look very different even with the same hairstyle. My brain can’t find the words but the contouring and highlights/lowlights are very different.

Blonde hair always looks like it has more…depth. But I do agree your hair looks way looser and is not styled the same way as the inspiration. I say try again and hopefully the second time is the charm. Lovely style by the way!

Caitiexoxo: Unless your stylist told you a specific reason that she cannot replicate that style, e.g. your hair is not long enough, I would be looking for another stylist rather than another style.

It looks like you need the curls to go up higher toward the crown of your head, and the inspo hair seems more loose. Definitely try another stylist, but don’t get too discouraged if it can’t be replicated exactly. You have totally different hair than the girl.

yea, it looks different. the top part is wavier and looser than what your stylist gave you.

I read somewhere that when you look for hair inspiration, you should look for hair the same color as yours.

At my hair trail, my stylist first did an updo that looked NOTHING like the picture.

What I wanted:

What I got the first time around:

I was so unhappy with it I made her redo it. I showed her what I didn’t like about the hairstyle she just did (wrapping my hair under and making it look like the curls were literally coming out of some mutant cave on my head) and showed her what I wanted in the picture:

Try number 2:

As long as you think she’s capable, I would communicate with her. Just because you don’t like what she does the first time she does something doesn’t mean you should fire her. The same goes with all vendors, assuming you believe they actually do know what they’re doing.

Caitiexoxo: it’s completely different the waves on your inspiration pic start at the top of the head. It’s like she’s just waved the bottom section. And according to my hairdresser friend wavy updos are the easiest to do ever!
