Yeah, I don’t think that hairstyle is worth paying someone to do for you.  Have you thought about extensions to achieve the original look?

Cosmogeny:  Your hair is defininitely long enough for the top right pic, you need to find a better stylist….Also you could try extensions as well, I saw a friend of a friend’s wedding pictures and she wanted a style similar. I made a comment about how amazing the girl looked, and my friend told me she was wearing extensions. I couldn’t believe it, you couldn’t tell at all, even though she was a fiery redhead. I’d suggest going elsewhere.

The updo looks unfinished, and the half up hal down looks like something a friend could do for free. I think you should consider finding a different hair stylist.

I dont see why she couldnt do a finger wave like you wanted your hair is no shorter than the top right girls is besides there are all size of finger waves  i can see it being something like this length wise.. I would talk to another hair dresser

I agree with the others. There is no reason she couldn’t do your hair the way you want. It’s not that short. Id be looking for another hair stylist for sure.

I think you need to find another stylist. I refuse to pay and beg. Your current stylist probably cant do the style you want. Just because the state gave her a cosmetology license does not mean she can do all the styles. Get someone to take you to a

I think your hair is long enough for the style you wanted, but maybe she wasn’t confident in doing that style. It’s not an easy look to achieve. Perhaps make up is more her specialty. If you’ve got time, you could try somewhere else to see what somebody else can come up with, and then choose between them.

I’m a qualified hairdresser (no longer working in that field though), so I’m speaking from experience.

I was trying to say that fingerwaving is a technique. it looks like she has the hair, but needs a lose rollerset and someone to wave the hair. I am not a hairdresser.

The updo makes you look old and the curls make you look like a little girl. You are only going to get married once, so make it a wonderful lasting memory. I am not trying to hurt your feelings.

It looks like an everyday hair style and not a bridal look. I’d go with another stylist.

I agree it doesn’t really seem “special”. I’d find a different hairstylist that is more confident with the style you want.
