i oddly cant figure out how to link posts… but in my recent posts, you can read about my hair dilemma.
otherwise, you may already remember me by my dresss…
i had my hair trial UUBER early this morning… got BACK from it at 7am. i like it. and i think i will love it when i have some makeup on? so ignore the no makeup and my lack of open eyes. lol.
inspiration: girl on left
this mornings first trial: the stylist said she LOVED it. and she said it always seems to turn out even better on the day of… maybe its the wedding pressure! i think its pretty close to the inspiration photo.. i just wonder about it. then again i wonder and second guess EVERYTHING! wah wah.
i didnt want to do the low side chignon.. though i love many pictures of that style, especially the carrie underwood red dress picture. but that exact style & picture are my MOHs inspiration and since were standing right by each other i didnt think id want the same hair style…
overall, hows it look? should i go with it? or try something else?

First of all, LOVE THE DRESS. I love that it is unique, just like your hair style. The same dress fashions and hair-do’s are getting tiring. Yay for being unique… and beautiful!

Hair is gorgeous, dress is gorgeous! It’s perfect!

I really love the volume in the hair style!

I’m not voting in the poll because I don’t think the style is “fugly” I just think its too much like a helmet. I think when you tease, the height has to taper instead of being level throughout, and I think the fact that it’s all equally high is distracting and detracts from your beauty.
That being said, if you can keep the the front a little smoother and less high, in combination with the gorgeous detail in the back, I think it will be gorgeous.

looks great!!! i think it works well with your dress too!
ETA, the more i look at it and consider other comments, i agree that it could be a little less helmetish… i love the back though!

I really the hairstyle on you. The only thing I would adjust is to keep the height at the top, but maybe not have as much volume towards the sides of your head. Also that dress is amazing!!!

@LuckyJuls: I agree with this!
Your dress is so pretty, and your hair will look great with it!

I love the back and the fact that the front has height but maybe not so much poof on the sides. I also am not a fan of the dangling pieces in the front, but thats only because I had way to many of them in the 90’s LOL

It’s not bad… I just don’t like it from the front. It looks a little country music to me. However, I’m not sure what I’d do to fix it.

I think it looks good, but it doesn’t wow me. With that amazing dress, I think your hair has to be equally stunning. I feel bad saying that, but I think there might be a better style. Although maybe it is because the volume is too much on the sides like PP said.

Definitely more volume on top and less through the side. Honestly, it doesn’t really look like your hairdresser teased the hair properly. It looks like it is going flat already.

Your dress is so sophisticated and beautiful. This hair just doesn’t go with it in my opinion.
This looks a bit 1960s country musiC hall of fame.
But if you love it rock it out!!!

lol. i am so confused. i cant think of any hair style to flow with my dress and pump it up the way it should be. flop flop.
