The curls look awesome! I agree that the forehead part needs...something. But otherwise it looks great!
Hmmmm...maybe its the whole right side of this that needs a change. The picture of the right side makes it look like a greasy mess, not curly, refined awesome.
I have two thoughts. 1) did you wash your hair the day-of? I know they say not to but if your hair is like mine... you really can't do that or it will look greasy. They can dirty-it-up with some mousse or something for hold. 2) the problem with side buns is that the opposite side is always going to look a bit off. One thing that helps that is if the side bun is big/curly enough that it is still visible from the opposite side. Maybe if you added a clip-in extension to give your bun some volume and make it bigger, it would be visible from the other side and not look off?
I love the curls in the back...but I agree that the sides/front need a bit more...something. Volume maybe?
The back of your hairstyle is SO PRETTY!!! I wonder if you should let a little bit of curl hang loose in the front...I think the biggest problem with the front right side is that it is kind of yanked back from your hairline.
@CorgiTales: I did not wash my hair before the trail. My hair dresser said she prefers styling "day old" hair because it holds curl better (or something like that). My hair didn't look this greasy going into the appointment...I actually think the poop tons of mousse and hair spray may have made me look greasy, but I failed to take any "before" shots to compare to. Fail Bride! An extension/Clip-in is a good idea! Budget-wise though, not sure how I'd afford it.
@Treasure43: How would I get more volume? The clip-ins/extensions Corgi mentioned? Some other way?
@huckleberry783: A few loose curls on the right side might cover that area/distract from it enough to finish off the look! Great idea! Thanks!
I think the curl on the front right is pulled back too far. I agree with the suggestion to drop it down onto your forehead more. And if that means it won't reach the bun, I think that's okay. You could let it hang free, or just pin the very end back into the do.
I think the back looks great! But just like everyone said the front needs more...hair! haha. maybe a little bit of wavy sideswept bangs in the front?

I had my hair trial two weeks ago and I thought I'd share the awesome with my fellow bees! I love love love this hairstyle my friend/hairstylist came up with....except for the front right side of my forehead. I feel it looks a little odd on me there. Otherwsie, its exactly the waves and pincurls I've been thinking about combined into a soft, curly, side-bun.
