I think you should contact your hair person and ask her what her policies/prices are. She will have plenty of experience I'm sure. The hair trial is just that... a trial. If you don't like it, then by all means don't hire them for your wedding day. The price should be completely separate from wedding-day services. I think it's fine to bring your mom to the salon.

So I'm ready to schedule my hair trial, but I don't really know how this works. Should I bring my mom along for input or will she just be standing there awkwardly? Do you pay for the trial or is it included in what you pay for the day-of hair? If you don't pay, do you tip?
