It looks pretty darn perfect in the first set of pics!  I get what you mean about a little less messy and I think that would help you feel more "bridal" and less "night out", maybe?  Personally, I really like it with the bangs.  They soften everything and it's more my style... but girl, either way, you are going to look amazing (I saw your makeup post too).  Are you wearing a veil?

I had to edit to say that I think it's perfect the way it is, but if you want to define the curls a bit, it won't ruin it. 

You can really do whatever you want with bangs then, as the veil won't be near your face.  If it were mantilla style or close to the forehead, I'd say definitely keep the bangs.  In the 2nd pic, you look more mature... I hope that doesn't sound rude... like, 1st pic is college student and 2nd pic is teacher.  I think the bangs bring the focus to your eyes, whereas with the second pic draws the viewer's eye upward to the forehead and hair (I hope that made sense).

I actually prefer the original pic with more bangs.  It's softer and more romantic, I think, like you didn't have to try at all to look this good... LOL!!  But seriously, you aren't going to get this wrong.  When you look back through photos of yourself, are there ones you like seeing more than others?  That could be a clue as to what you'll continue appreciating to see years from now in your bridal pics.

You know what it is?!  The first pic w/ bangs looks like something I'd see in Style Me Pretty or Martha Stewart.  It looks unaffected, natural, and still polished.  I think it's perfect, but of course, that's just my opinion. 

@fallbride10111:  It's not sloppy at all, but the weather that day might affect it.  Your stylist looks like she knows what she's doing, but be sure to use product and hairspray.

I like it with bangs down. The bangs back looks a tad harsh. I think defining the curls is a must because after several hours of partying I am afraid this will just look a mess. Curls wilt anyway but loose curls just end up looking flat after several hours. I think giving the bangs more lift will help you be more comfortable too.

Maybe so.  I wore mine down b/c I just couldn't get used to it up (aside from the messy bun on top of the head thing, which I definitely wasn't doing). 

It's a tough call, b/c you need to be comfortable enough to not even think about it day of, but I still like the first pic, with more defined curls.

@smiles731... okay, that is just unreal!!  I had to scroll up and I thought she was showing us pics of her everyday hair... so I was sitting there studying it to make an opinion, until I read your post!  LOL

2nd to last pic of doppleganger... it looks like she actually has some longer, loose pieces of bangs that the wind must have blown back in other pics.  I do like that, as it's more relaxed and (my favorite word) softer.  If your hair is that long, I think that is definitely an option.

@fallbride10111:  Doppleganger = your double (It's some sort of superstition I think, I don't really know)  One of those things I say, but it lost it's real meaning a long time ago... :)

1) Here's something similar to the 1st "back of" curls pic you posted (minus flower) with a veil... I think it looks good and honestly, better than the messier style of your trial (although I like it too, but maybe not as much as "more defined" for a wedding).  Just thought you might appreciate seeing it all together.

2) Here's no bangs w/ veil. Just to get an idea of how you feel seeing it.

Maybe you should do a mock-up with and without bangs, with the veil, take pics and see which you like best?

I just realized I haven't even asked you what type of venue your ceremony will take place in or what sort of mood you're trying to create? 

You are so very pretty and I showed this to my FI and he said it was "a mess" :(  I would love to see your beautiful blonde hair with more defined curls in the back and more volume on the top - you are exquisite and have lovely hair.  I would like to see it done to express how very beautiful you are.

What was your inspiration pic?  I am not trying to be harsh - I was just a bit surprised mostly by the back.

Bangs can look very classy and not messy at all.  My vote is for bangs with defined curls (but not the prom-y ones).  I have to get some sleep but wish you the best!  You are gorgeous and you're going to be gorgeous on your wedding day, regardless of your hairstyle or makeup.  Don't worry about it too much and enjoy the day!

I keep thinking about it and had to come back!  I like the original pic, but after seeing the "neater" photos you posted, I'm seeing how it's a bit too casual (it also depends on the setting and style of your wedding).  I still like it!  But I like the neater chignon for a wedding.  I know my hair trial was more a quick mock-up of what he would do, and he took a lot more time on the wedding day, so don't worry about it!  Take in pics and she can modify it.  :)

@fallbride10111:  It's definitely messier than your inspiration pics!  When I saw it, I started picturing a beach wedding or a hippie. earthy kind of thing...I love your inspiration pics, btw.

ps~ my DH just voted for the inspiration pic... he said, "She's a beautiful girl, anything is going to look good.  But the second one is more organized."  lol Organized.
