@Stetil: I love the color with your dress, have you thought about wearing it more as a headband?

I love Grecian style! Is there a way you can show us a picture of you in the dress with it on? The flash makes the headpiece so bright, it’s hard to tell if it will distract from the dress. I think it looks great, otherwise.

I agree I would wear it more as a headband or a bit further back on your head. Having it right infront of your forehead does make it look a bit costume-y

^^ agreed. I like it as a headband, but the way it is now is a little costume like. Just think about looking back at your wedding pics in 20 years. And I think it conflicts with the beading on your dress. If the dress was plain – different story.

Sorry, i don’t like it. Not on your forehead anyway. Your dress is wicked and you would look great with your hair up, taut and controlled. Maybe twist the headband around a tight bun?

@Stetil: Ooh, yes, like a tiara would be just right!

Wow! Stunning dress! (And get you!!) I do agree with they others though; it’s a beautiful piece but I’m not sure it looks as good as it could placed like that on your forehead. Could you post some pictures of it a bit further back, worn as a hairband?

If you’re set on having something across the forehead, I think it needs to be something more delicate. However, it’s your day and if you love it, go for it!

@Stetil: Oh yes, that was going to be my second choice!! It was hard to explain, but a tiara placement would be fabulous.  I love that you taking the gold from the dress and using it in your hair.  Your hair color is so pretty, everything will just flow! : )  Keep us updated, we would love to see it all together.

@RR – love it, love it, love it! I think putting it slightly further back makes a world of difference.

@Stetil – I’m pretty sure you’ll look fab whatever you choose!

@Stetil: Btw, maybe you can have the esty seller send you some extra gold leaves, maybe you can add a little more to one side and give it more “flair” to wear it as a headband.  You may want to fill in some of the empty spaces on your own with some gold crystals or accents?  Just my 2 cents.  Love this post – the grecian look is very cool.  I seem to have appreciation for it!

Love your dress. Honestly, I think it could work, but the jewelry would have to be minimum.
