hair up/ hair down dilemmas

I would worry about going from an up-do to having it down. I think it might work out better the other way around. My hair usually looks insane after taking it out of any type of up-do, even a simple pony tail. My dress also has lace around the top and the back so I’m just putting my hair up. Plus later on I plan on dancing! I don’t want my hair to be all in my face or get hot and sweaty, so again I decided it needed to be up.

I think if you really wanted it you might be able to make it work. Maybe a simple curled up do that you could let down, the curls might help hide any little kinks in your hair from being up.

Another thing to consider is if you have it down for the reception and plan on dancing it might not keep curls or maintain the look that you want.

@lizziebeth:  I think it’s the Glamour Weddings blogs that have a super comprehensive guide about changing hair/make-up looks from the ceremony to the reception!

I think the said you need a hair/MUA hired from that morning until after your hair-change in the afternoon/early evening.

Why not wear your hair in a side-do? I don’t like wearing my hair up, but I wanted my hair off of my neck/shoulders because I didn’t want to get too hot, so I had my stylist pin it over to one side.
