if it were me, i would wear it up. but that’s only becuase i love it when girls wear strapless it dresses and show off their collar bone. long, flowy hair hides that beautiful part of a woman’s body!

I have the same dilemma….and I don’t know what to do either. I have thick, long hair, wearable up or down. Maybe when you do a hair trial, you can try both ways and figure out which one you like better? I think that’s what I’ll do. Its so hard to decide!

I went through this a lot, so I went and got both done at my hair trial. My consensus? DOWN! I loved Meliss’s hair too. Here’s my post’:

    Finally got my hair trial!

I wore my hair up on my day for a couple reasons:

    1) I knew I’d be hot. My dress was kind of heavy, I had a crinoline and I knew I’d be sweating up a storm on the dance floor. It was 70-80s on my wedding day and both the ceremony and the reception were in air conditioning, but I still got super hot. I looked like a hot mess by the end of the night! haha.

    2) I didn’t go to prom, I will probably will never be invited to a black tie event, and will NEVER walk the red carpet. So what other time in my life will it be appropriate to wear my hair up in a fancy ‘do!

And I didn’t feel like I looked like someone else on my wedding day and I don’t regret wearing my hair up at all.

That being said, I think your hair is absolutely gorgeous down and would look fabulous like the inspiration pic. But you’ll probably look gorgeous whichever way you decide to wear your hair.

…I didn’t help much, did I? Lol, Sorry!

I like both!  I’m doing hair down for ceremony and part of the reception and then having it put up (nothing to fancy, just a quick side-do).  my hair stylist is a friend that will be attending the wedding but it still might be an option for you if someone talented with hair can do it!
