you could probably do a similar style, just keeping it centered in the back? it will help with keeping the left side not done up. But really, I think it looks beautiful! And you want to look like you, just more done up. Once you have makeup done too it might help with the overall look. I felt the same way - I always pull my hair back so I was hesitant about doing that for my wedding. But she did it up pretty, made it more poofy in the front rather than just pulled straight back....once everything is together, the hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, it will be completely different. I love it!
What if you kept the back (the part you do like) and had her change the front to add finger waves instead of your loose bangs? That would be a more sophistocated version of what you had done. Maybe something like this?
@dreambml - Thanks for the reassurance! You might be right!
@snmcdowell - I like that a lot, it might make all the difference- thanks!
Def. do not like the finger wave idea...just my opinion! But I do love the way you have it, the only thing you may want to change is the top front and have her lift it up by teasing it to give it some volume. I would also suggest pinning your bangs to the side. That will give you a more sophisticated look as well...just an idea!

I went for my hair trial last night. I thought I knew what I wanted, and actually loved the look for about an hour or so after the trial was finished. When I woke up this morning and looked at the pictures, I realized that I really hate it. I don't look any different then I normally do from the front, and with an off center low bun (what I love in pictures) it only looks good from the back if you're straight on or looking from the right.
I know that I am going to have to go for another trial, luckily I am in a wedding in a few weeks and I can use that as an additional dry run. I am feeling pretty down about this whole thing, here I thought I was on top of things and would be finished with one more thing on my list - but really, it's just set me back and now I have to re-research what I want and go from there.
Here's a link to a couple of picturesL http://www.xanga.com/FromMs2Mrs/661116931/hair-trial.html Let me know if you have any ideas on how to make it look better from the front...or anything I love the pin curls (or whatever they're called...) but that's about it at this point.
- Disappointed.
