Hi Ladies,

I'm still really new to Pittsburgh...and still haven't found a place that doesn't butcher my hair.  I'm getting married 5/30, and still need someone to do my hair, and all my girls as they're all from out of town.  Can anyone recomend someone in the downtown area?  I've tried Leah from Bridal Beauty Motion, but they already have 2 bookings that day :(  Any help would be appreciated - thanks! :)

I second the request for help on this! I'm a long-term Pittsburgh local, but I've always been more of a 'blow-dry and go' type, so I'm at a loss.. Recommendations, please!

While I've never gotten my hair done there, I had several facials at Capristo.  I thought that they did a wonderful job, and I saw nothing but rave reviews about the salon on citysearch.

I booked Julie from Pittsburgh Makeup and Dolce Vita Salon...  everyone is coming to the hotel where we are all getting ready!  Good luck. 

I work downtown and go to Salon Christine to get my nails done.  It's an Aveda salon and while I haven't gotten my hair done at the salon, a friend of mine has and gave it great reviews.  Here's the site . . . http://www.salonchristine.com/

 Another Salon that I absolutely loved was Serene. It's located in Cranberry right off of 228.  I haven't gone back since my hairdresser left but everyone who works there is super nice.  I think they offer wedding day specials.

Just so anyone out there knows...I ended up going to Cardamone's downtown.  There's one stylist JoJo that always does the updos - she is AWESOME!  She did my hair, my mom and my 3 bridesmaids.  Everyone complimented us on the hair. :)
