My sister got married at BVI a few years ago - it was fantastic! We got all our hair and makeup done by Signature Style (Manchseter). They will travel to you if you would like. Not So Plain Janes also is popular.

We are getting married in Portsmouth and ordered our cake through Wild Orchid Baking Co. - very yummy and affordable! We had our tasting with Erin a few months ago, she was very nice and had a lot of great ideas for design. She listens well, too...gives her suggestions but bases them on what she hears from you. I was very pleased. We got to sample about 8 different types of cakes/fillings and they were all great.
I am getting married at the BVI in September! We are using Chickadee Hill Cakes. Their prices were on the low end but Shara's cake flavor, designs and skill are top notch.
Suzy Roy out of Maine did my makeup and she was amazing to work with. I can send you her email address if you'd like to drop her a line!
Dyan Brisson from Eclipse Salon in Portsmouth did my hair, she's a friend and does amazing work!
The pastry chef at the hotel I work at did our wedding cake and she's very reasonable! Let me know if you need any info for the above people!

Hi,
I live in Boston, but am getting married in May at the Bedford Village Inn. Does anyone have any recommendations for hair/makeup in the Manchester area?
Also, we're looking for a reasonably priced, but delicious cake vendor (hoping to spend less than $400). Any advice would be most appreciated.
