I had my hair and makeup trial last night and was very happy with the results. I’m just wondering if the lashes are a bit much. I definitely want fake lashes, but I had her use the “medium” lashes, rather than the “light” like I have gotten before.
The issues is when I have gotten my makeup done in the past as a bridesmaid, I always ask for a “natural” look and the lightest lashes they have, because that’s my style, but then I get disappointed that in photographs it’s almost too natural and doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup. For my wedding I want to make sure that doesn’t happen.
However, I’m just wondering if these are less bridal and more Vegas showgirl… 🙂

@cpierson: Nope you look great! I think in order to have your pictures pop you need somewhat bigger lashes but they aren’t too big….just right!

@cpierson: You look gorgeous! I would keep the medium lashes, theyre not “showgirl-y” at all, and will definitely show up in your pics.

@cpierson: Your hair is pretty! So long as the lashes don’t bug you, keep them!

It looks awesome to me. You’ll need a little extra for photos.

Just remember that your wedding photos are not going to be close ups of your face. You’re mostly seeing them close up in the mirror and you’re not used to them, so of course they seem extra big. But in your photos they will look great.
