My wedding is in 19 days. I'm an out of town bride so it's been hard to do hair/makeup trials (or really, anything). I had my first one yesterday. Below are some pictures of it. The makeup photographed really well (better than it looked in person) but the hair frizziness was OUT of control. I don't normally have that much frizz in my hair at all, even living in Puerto Rico!

I think the frizziness can be solved by using my regular hair products after washing my hair, using a flat iron at the top (he only blow dried it) and using some gloss on top (we only used mousse and hair spray).

This guy was supposed to be an "awesome" MUA and stylist and I have to say I'm kind of dissappointed. Am I being unreasonable? At this point I might not be able to have another trial with other people so I'm freaking out that my hair will look like this on my wedding day. Help! Any tips? Ideas? Feel free to be brutally honest :)

(BTW - Ignore all the gray hairs, I have to get those dyed PRONTO!)

These are pictures taken after 7 hours with a touch up of translucent powder and new (different) lipstick. The hair is obviously a disaster. The curls have dropped quite a bit but that's not the main concern, it's the CRAZY frizz! My hair is never this bad normally but I always use some product before blowing out the hair.

I think you look great!  When you chose an style like that I think it's a given that after so long the curl will fall out (unless you were to use MASSIVE amounts of product and I don't think that's the look you're going for).

    Love that hair flower!

I think before deciding to go with this stylist, try communicating your concerns about the frizziness of the hair and ask what she/he will do to make sure it won't be frizzy!

I think the makeup looks great - but I would do your eyebrows a bit fuller and lighter.  It will really change the look and frame your face a bit differently.  just my opinion. :)

I would suggest trying to communicate your concerns, and he/she should address them accordingly.  If the answer s/he gives you sounds iffy, you might want to try someone else for a trial, and bring these photos for reference.

    Good luck!

I think you look gorgeous!  I see what you mean about the frizz.....I agree with skyla - mention you reviewed the pictures and noticed the frizziness.

I would try the TIGI Bed Head - amazing for frizz, believe me I'm Cuban and lived in Miami before. :o) You would be amazed how well it works- and it's applied AFTER styling!
