fructis anti-humidity if it will be humid. I like fructis because it is cheap and smells good. It works well too!!
I'm sure that humidity won't be a problem since it's typically very dry in California, especially with the Santa Ana winds. I just need a hairspray that will keep my hair from flying all over the place, not to mention hairspray recommendations for the bride who has super thick hair.
Aveda's Firmata - best hairspray for hold, hands down.
I just want anything but Aqua Net hairspray which smells bad and is bad for the ozone.
I used Redken Workforce 09 for day to day, and it's pretty solid. For a special event and extra hold, one of the high number Redkens (18 or 23) would be my choice. 23 is a crazy strong hold.
For my sister's wedding, I did her hair and went to Sally Beauty Supply. The hairspray is Ion and it has a silver base and pink cap. Not only did it hold all night long, it smelled like strawberries!
I LOVE Chi's hairspray. It's the perfect flexible hold, so it doesn't look like you have hairspray, but it holds so well. And it smells delicious!

What's the best hairspray to use for the day of the wedding? I'm going to be a bridesmaid and want to make sure my hair will stay in place on the day of the wedding.
