@HoneyBee22:  I don’t really have any suggestions, but I’m loving your dress! Were you planning to wear your hair down?

@HoneyBee22:  Well, at least you’ve narrowed it down to an updo. There are a lot of loose vintage-inspired looks that are all over right now. I typed in “flower crown wedding updo” into pinterest, and here are some of the pics. You can’t see their dresses, though.

The first pic is from an Etsy seller that makes those. I can’t remember if she makes the crowns from fresh or silk flowers, though.

I wouldn’t worry so much about your hair “matching” your dress. Just pick something that you like and that will hold up for he whole night and be comfortable!

@HoneyBee22:  I think that maybe your stylist is pushing “sleek” styles because loose curls havea tendancy to loose their bounce halfway through the nigh. Does your hair hold curl well? If so then I say give it a try and see how it lasts. If it falls flat you could try some of the more “sleek” options. But if it holds up, then go for it!

not sure how you feel about braids, but i did this updo for my cousin earlier this year and we both got a lot of compliments on it 🙂

the only thing i did differently was the placement of the flowers because the ones my cousin had didn’t look quite right going all the way around her head like the model.

I was in love with this one for the longest time –

I also think this one has a vintagey/romantic feel while also being formal, though it may depend entirely on the headpiece.

@HoneyBee22:  I think that with that dress (which is beautiful!), a romantic hairstyle like long flowing curls would be gorgeous with a flower crown.

@candykristina:  I LOVE these!  I was going to suggest a vintage-like style as well.  Since your dress is so “WAH-BAM!” (in a fantastic way!!), I would suggest having it done in a soft, romantic updo. 🙂  Good luck – I know how hard of a decision it is!  (I get married in TWO days and I STILL can’t decide what to do with mine!!! lol)
