I am having trouble picking my hairstyle. I have naturally straight long dark brown hair. I want my hair down and I am wearing a flower crown (we are having a rustic barn wedding). I like the beach curl, tousseled look but I’m not convinced can be done exactly how I want it on my wedding day. It seems easier to get more “structured” looks right and last all day
Would it be awful to have my hair down/straight with more body in the roots to account for the crown? (My hair tends to be a bit flat on top). The thing is, I normally see photos of brides with curly hair when they choose to wear it down.
BTW I wish I could upload pics but weddingbee won’t let me 🙁

I think you could wear your hair straight with the flower crown. I intended to wear my hair like you described but my hair doesn’t hold a curl well. So, it was curled but the curls stated falling almost immediately. I kinda wish I had done a flower crown or something similar to make my hair more special.
Have you decided yet?

MissPine: I am still undecided and I don’t really have spare money to pay for another hair trial. My issue with curling my hair is I end up with straight/flat hair on top and a bunch of curls at the bottom 🙁

linnylou_88: how about a pretty side braid? Like a fishtail? I think that’s what I’m doing for my floral crown hairstyle.
There’s a lot of looks on Pinterest.

Oh.. not a problem.. i would suggest that if can make your hairs curl then do that and do half clutch to you hair and after that you can put flowers in your hairs…
That would look more elegant on you!!
