I will finally get a good haircut next Tuesday. Looking for a killer hairstyle!

I have very, very thick, wavy, dark brown/black hair that go down, just below mid-back. I want to keep the length, but would still like a big change.

Since I couldn't style my hair pretty even if someone held a gun to my head, I need something easy to take care of...

Usually loose or just a low ponytail/bun (but not a nice bun!)... Not ready to cut them very short now (DH would be disappointed and I'm not ready so I'll keep them long for another year I guess..)
