I’m having my destination wedding in Cuba at the end of April and I have yet to decide how to put my hair. I dont like all my hair up ever unless I go to the gym…. so a half up half down style would be ideal for me (and it will be hot there so not all down) I plan to wear a flower in my hair to go with my bouquet and I have also bought a veil but plan to only wear that for the ceremony and maybesome pictures. Do you Bee’s have ideas or pictures for me to see…thanks so much!!! I have long brown hair that is about mid back length if the helps 🙂

It would be helpful if you could provide a photo or just describe you hair – long, short, curly…
I would probably go with an updo, as I hate when it’s warm and my hair sticks to the neck.

I was just like you, but when I got to Hawaii everyone told me to put my hair up. And I was so glad I did! Not only because my hair is curly and it was humid (think frizz), but also because there was wind. I heard lots of stories about unruly hair blowing all sorts of ways and ruining all sorts of photos/bothering the bride. Not to mention feeling sweaty.
Sorry, not trying to be negative, but just to share why I was so glad I put mine up! I also had flowers in mine and so did my Maid/Matron of Honor. Sorry I can’t get any pics from the back off the computer that I’m on right now, but I can try for later. Here are some that I’ve previously uploaded to the Bee: (the bottom one was kind of my inspiration)

@MademoiselleL: OMG!!!!! You look stunning in your pictures and the secenery is breathtaking!! I want to see more!!!! I agree that hair up would be alot easier but I hate how I look with my hair all up..plus I have a big tattoo on my back that I would rather not be showing on the big day

I will do half up half down similar to this, with braid.
