We have a thread for natural hair, how about those of us that rock the creamy crack, have naturally curly or straight hair? Here are my favorites!!
This girls makeup and skin color hair color are soo close to my own it rocks to see her hair perfectly coiffed!!

I friggin' dig the texture and sexy sophistication of this one...

Ooooooo I Looooove #2. That is really sophisticated and chic. A sparkly hair pin would be uber bridal, too =]
the 2nd is my favorite, i cut bangs earlier in the year and immediately let them grow out.. i really really really dig the big flowers folks are wearing now or even this one.. of course i'd go to etsy, but since i have decided to get a cheaper dress and go for the great photographer... i can splurge a bit on acessories lol!!! can you imagine this and a drop veil and the second hair?! and thank goodness my hair is growing back so i can actually rock the style whenever he pops the question lol...

WOW.. I LOVE #2. The highlights bring a subtle was but awesome amount of texture to the style. Oh and I LOVE that flower piece. PERTY!!
i agree with the you roddy on the highlights, my hair is jet black though exactly like the first picture... i don't think the same look would be achieved with my hair being as dark as it is... i guess i can start playing around after my engagement lol
I have naturally wavy-curly hair. More wave than curl. I can get a blow out and rock that second style. I really, really love the beautiful look of the first one, however. That model is hands down exremely beautiful. My hair is jet black, so like crebre said, maybe the second one looks best with the highlights. Since I'm totally not going to dye my hair; I wonder if adding a track will give me this same look. These are great crebre. I also like these looks. The first can be achieved by doing a set or even with a small sized curlying iron. The second is a fabulous stylish yet sophisticated hair cut.
oh my gosh, i LOVE the 2nd one! i'm natural (with some crazy curls), but i'm still trying to figure out just what to do with my hair. it's pics like this that make me really want to grab that straightening comb on my big day...... oh, decisions....
I love the pic of the mowry sister (which one is that?!)... I actually was rocking a do very similar to that until M saw the picture of my hair when it was longer then he was all over the long style lol!!
i think on that day that i'd love to have a style where it is an updo for the ceremony and then have it taken down and looser for the reception... this can be done, my stylist is one of my best friends :D
Back when I used to relax my hair I wore it similar to Toni Braxton's and Nia Long's. Then I had the Michelle Obama look going on...I love her hair. If I ever relax again I will definitely be rocking Oprah hair. I love the big loose curls.
I don't know why but I like Nia Long better with short hair...probably b/c she has such great bone structure.
I <3 Michelle-O's top. FABULOUS!!!!! I don't know about wearing it to a press conference, but if anyone can pull it off, Mrs. Obama can. I love that top. I'm on the prawl for something similar.
I like the loose bun look. But I couldn't do it on my hair, it's too tight and I like the shape of my volume. Here are a few looks I thought on.
i like the loose bun as well... I am growing my hair out so I am not sure which look I'll end up with...
Hey, since looking for make up looks for my skin tone, I've searched images of Jada. I found a few hairstyles that are fabulous. check them out.
ohhhhhhhh i love the first one!! it would look great pinned up in the back for the ceremony and then taken down and sexier for the reception (which is what i really want!!)
Okay... this dark look on Bey I've never seen. I really like it! My hair may get this long by 2011. If not... there is always extensions. I really really like this look for some reason. Not traditionally bridal; but I am so not the traditional bride. Maybe for the reception or after party. What do you think?
LOVE IT!! and i think the dark hair looks great on her! sort of what lisa raye did for her wedding...

i bet her neck hurt...

i must say i am really digging this dark hair on her... she looks soo much more glamorous (bad english i know)
My current style (Jada's is slightly longer). I love this look and so does Mister. I do however want to straighten my hair for the wedding and have larger curls and no waves. What do you think I could do if I kept it natural like this? How could I make this look bridal?
Yes, I love the dark hair on Lisa Raye and Beyonce. I'm naturally dark haired (my hair is such a dark brown it looks black). Lisa Raye's hair does look heavy. LOL!!!
my mom said no to the natural Jada look. Since I wear this style almost daily (sometimes down, most days back in a pony). So, although easy and will save me lots of money; it's the easy way out and not "good" enough for my wedding day. (my mom's words). LOL!!!
@91011: i love that look!! soo jealous because i have been trying to get my uber straight relaxed hair of this. i love the style that whitesonnet posted if your hair is that curly.. and this one by jessica alba (my favorite)

I might try this Jessica Alba look for the holiday party next week.
ohh do take pictures!! i'm sure it will be stunning!! i'm incredibly jealous btw that you have that hair.. i tried to do a wavy curl (my hair is shoulder length now and i am growing it out ) anyhoo, how about an hour later they had fallen out and it was bone straight?
@91101: lol your mom sounds so cute!! lawd i have no idea what things mine will say a yay or a nay too... she's gotten pretty accustomed to my crazy quirky style so i think she may definitely be more mellow.. although she's convinced that M will propose on Christmas day.. i told her i think he may take her ring shopping when we get there.. she was like nah
i sure hope she's not disappointed lol!!
FYI - anyone thought of rocking the full lace wigs??? simpler than extentions and you can have whatever style you want, and not have to pay a stylist! including the messy curly look! :)
not for me.... M didn't even like my jhud bob because it looked too wiggie and it was mine, well mostly lol!! the sides were catching up from a faux-hawk i used to rock... there are quite a few folks here that do them though...
don't think I can do the full lace wig. I have soooo much hair as it is; i'd be uncomfortable with so much more on my head. I'd only do the extensions to give length, if needed. Lace front... not my idea of comfort. But then again, I've never had one. So not sure how it would feel. I just imagine it being uncomfortable.
when i said "here" i meant in baton rouge... lol! not here on the board because i have no idea!!
im a huge fan of full lace - and just fyi those that like that beyonce look - its also a full lace wig. makes it easy to change up a style without too much committment. and if you get virgin hair, folks never know...
but if you have a ton of hair, really its not necessary!
Yea, I knew Beyonce (and most other stars with hair-down-to-there) rock the full lace wigs. I just think I'd be uncomfortable. Yes... I have massive wavy-curly thing going on up top. LOL!!! The problem I'm worrying about is the length. It's past my shoulder blades right now. I'm hoping to get it to at least the middle of my back within a year. It has never been as long as the Beyonce look, so I'm certain I'll need to add hair to get that down-to-the-waist look. Thanks for the idea on the lace wig. My mom said that they are not uncomfortable and I should just try out one and if I don't like it give it to her. LOL!!! They are quite expensive expensive though. Well, I'd have to purchase the virgin hair and those are more expensive. I'll have to think about your suggestion spaganya. I've found quite a few down-to-there-hair styles I like. We'll see how my hair does during the hoiday season for these few parties we have to attend.
its fun wearing em - and they last a long time so the expense is about the same as getting your hair done (relaxed, pressed, etc) on the regular. and if you do the virgin hair you can treat it liek your own (ie. curling, styling, etc) but its naturally straight so you dont have to do the normal press and curl stuff. lemme know if you decide to give it a try theres a few different places to get em cheaper and i can letcha know what to look for so you dont get ripped off (lots of imitators out there!)
I am crazy about the second one! Especially how her highlights just curve along with the wave of her hair! It's beautiful. And I agree, a sparkley hair accessory would be perfect!
@midnight sun: i really like it too, except i dunno if i want to handle the maintenance of highlights again??? hmmmmm
still loving the second picture from my original post... i think she may be a winner... now i hope my stylist can do this picture.
