Have you tried a locall owned jeweler?
It sounds like you want exactly what I have! My e-ring is a double shank ring but I didn't want a band that was too blingy. We got one that matches perfectly and the diamonds only go halfway around. It's from a local jeweler that I'm 90% sure sets their own rings. (and it was much cheaper than I imagined!)
the bottom ring is the band on it's own. The diamonds on both rings stop at about the same spot as yours.
Yes ma'am that is exactly what I am looking for. I also do not want something that is very bling, although I do love my fair share. We have tried looking locally but I think we are going to have to go outside of my region. :)
I had the same problem. Not sure where Edinburg is, but I had a jeweler in Austin make mine custom. He did a 2.5mm band that perfectly matches my engagment ring, with the european shank that I wanted, for only $1k and it only took him a few weeks. I spent so much time looking for a band to match and I'm so happy now with what I got! I should have just gone custom from the beginning!
I have a 2mm half eternity totalling .33 custom done by the same jeweler that made my ering. Its platinum, took a week and a half to make, and I paid 1100. It stops half way like yours, but the jeweler should be able to match yours exactly, or adjust to what you tell him you want.

Your jeweler was crazy, I've seen a bunch of not full eternity bands!! My sister got a 3/4 one at Kay's, it goes further than you want but not totally so it can be sized and what not. Do an online search, I've seen them at Zales.com, walmart.com (a bee had this one and it was beautiful) or overstock.com. Good luck!!!

Ok Bees, I am having a bit of a dilemma. When my fiancé proposed he did it with a cute "IOU a Ring" on our cruise to Mexico (he knows I am particular about me jewelry). Together we customized this one (Thanks to inspiration from Carrie and Sex and The City) because it did not make my petite fingers look weigh down by a ring! I knew I wanted a colored center stone, because I knew it would pop with my skin. Well now that the wedding is in a few we can't seem to find bands that match. The jeweler told us that it is because not to many engagement rings come with a "full half shank" and to top that off it needs to be in a 2.0 mm band and each can not have a ct t.w. of more than .33!!! I am really stressing because I really want the anniversary type band of diamonds, but not fully around. The goal is to get two (one on each side) so that it looks like a bed of diamonds under my blue stone.
What do you guys think I should? Any suggestions that you think will work? At this moment I am ready to try anything.
