@Bebealways:  Hey, well done on hitting halfway! I’m just about on-target to finish at the end of the month, but we’ll see what a beating that takes when I have to spend a weekend away for a wedding in a couple of weeks!

This is the first year I’ve not participated since 2007. I found the the more flexible Camp Nanos (did this past April and July) are more successful (or less stressful) for me. I do miss the excitment in the buildup to it as the days get shorter, but with school this year and knowing how I react to those under 1667-word days, I’ve shifted tack a little.

This year, I’ve decided to be less of an absentee landlord on one of my (many derelict) blogs to see if I can’t post daily regardless the word count or relevance of subject.

Congratualtions to the both of you! It’s such a fun activity, and I really admire the Office of Letters and Light. “We believe in ambitious acts of the imagination.” Hear, hear!

@Bebealways:  I’m a writer by trade so while this idea somewhat interests me, I don’t think I’d ever participate. I prefer quality over quantity every time. I’d rather start from scratch than work off something crappy. If I was rushing, it would be crappy.

Also, started a new job this month so no time!

@MrsPanda99:  That’s the thing, whatever we write in November will be absolutely awful – But the experience itself actually is really fun and it’s something that, if you do it once, you’ll want to keep on doing! This is actually my third year 🙂

@ZebraPrintMe:  I can’t imagine wanting to do something that produces awful writing, lol. I’d rather take longer to write something better (which I’m currently working on). I guess it just isn’t for me.
