My finace and I are both very much into horror movies and horror nonsense in general. We love halloween and want to incorporate that into the reception but I don't want it to be too dark/gothic or whathaveyou. I'm also afraid of it getting too cheesy or campy.

I've got a few centerpiece ideas but I need inspiration as far as table decor, maybe things for the walls, etc.

My colors are red, black and ivory. I don't hate the color orange, it's not my favorite and I know I can have only so much Halloween stuff minus the orange.

I want something fun but still elegant enough that it seems like a reception, just a really awesome one! Haha. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Oh you could have something SO elegant to make peole look at halloween in a whole new way!  If you'rehaving people dress up have them dress up as their favorite old time movie star and do something very hollywood glam.  Or how about just making it a FORMAL so people have an excuse to get VERY dressed up, full make up and all.  I'd love to hear more about your halloween wedding.  I think it could be ultra glamorous and fun as hell. maybe it's not your thing, but if it were me, I'd do hollywood glam/oscar-esque stuff.  Champagne cocktails, cigars, brandy, and all!

You could do some really neat center pieces incorporating your colors you could have roses as centerpieced in a vase with black feathers or some sort of filler with it that would be elegant yet halloween spooky.

Somebody here was having a halloween masquerade ball wedding, which I think is an awesome idea.  As your favors or centerpieces or both, you could put decorated masks on sticks in vases and for people to wear on the dance floor.  You could add tiaras and feather boas also.
