    Hi All,

Never weekend BF and I are going to his sisters wicked huge [no pun intended] halloween party!  It's going to be a blast, however, we need a costume!  Or two I guess.  We like going as a pair.  Last year we were Doug Funny and Patty Mayo from Doug, lol.  This year the only suggestion he gave was Starbucks.  Him with money glued all over him and me dressed in black with a star around my neck.  Ummm??? I'm not really feeling that.  SO!  What have been some successful halloween costumes for you and your SO?

@Twista:  That's a good one!  Some of our friends went as Guts contestants, but I love Legends of the Hidden Temple!

This was an idea that I gave to a bee not too long ago-

I had this friend of mine who went to a Halloween party with her husband and she was dressed like the candy 'mounds' and he wsa dressed like the candy 'Almond Joy'. On the back of his costume it said "I have nuts" and on the back of hers it said "I don't". I thought it was quite a clever couples costume. Super easy DIY costume. He wore a red plain T-shirt and hot glued a bunch of Almond joys to his shirt and she wore a plain blue T-shirt and hot glued a bunch of Mounds to hers. Then just wrote the sayings on the back with some type of glue gel for clothing. Good Luck!!!

FI saw a Cookie Monster costume at Target.  I think he's going to use that, and I'm somehow going to be a chocolate chip cookie.  I guess I have to become crafty in the next 7 days.

We went as Mario and Princess Peach last year -- it was a blast and everyone loved our costumes! But -- I did spend about a month gathering materials and making our costumes. (Never again! LOL)

This year, we thought about Alice and the Mad Hatter, or Stan and Wendy from Southpark.

@lalalalinzii: well, when i was trying on the 'costume'i just rolled up on of my FH tshirts and it actually worked pretty well! if a tshirt isn't big enough you could always use a sweatshirt....but i know people who have actually purchased pillows/stuffed basketballs...or even a balloon would work i guess? i just thought the tshirt was more comfortable!
