I don’t know anyone who thinks of barbecuing on halloween, that’s much more of a summer thing to me.  I would prefer something more in line with the holiday like warm crockpot soups or chilis, pumpkin carving, scary movies, and trick or treating.  But I also live in colorado and its snowing on halloween about 75% of the time so I dont know what your weathers like

@realtreegal:  I wouldnt worry too much about time lines! I would say an hour for the rehearsal. Just make sure you have all the ducks in a row before you get there!

@realtreegal:  Maybe it’s because I’m not American but I think your rehearsal comes before Halloween! Don’t stress out just because it happens to be Halloween, but if it’s really important, just let the kids wear costumes at the rehearsal and give them candy after for being so good. I think it’s just unnecessary if you make it into an elaborate thing the day before your wedding Or you’ll be freaking out. Alternatively delegate the planning to someone else (a parent) so you can focus on your Day!
