I am having a Halloween wedding in 2015, I do not want to make the wedding cheesy. I am not having people come in costume because I don’t want that to take away from it being a wedding. I also do not want a masquerade or day of the dead theme. I have some ideas that I would opinions on to see if they are “cheesy”.
I want to have a fortune teller instead of a photo-booth for entertainment. I thought that they could stay set up a small table and the guests could go and get a reading or the fortune teller could walk around to everyones table. I am not sure what would be better, I do not want there to be a big line for the fortune teller.
My other idea is to get metal cookie cutters (halloween themed) and use them as napkin rings and put a thank you note on them so that the guests can take them home as favors after.
I also wanted to do the ceremony in orange, white and black and the reception in black, silver, white, and red but I am not sure how that will look going from one color scheme to another. (The ceremony is outside and the reception is inside).
Any idead and suggestions would be helpful!!!!

I think your ideas are awesome, especially the fortune teller!
My friend got married on Halloween in 2009 and I was a BM.
Her colors were jewel tones – wine red and deep purple.
Her centerpieces were small pumpkins with small holes cut in them and a tea light in the center.
Favors were a candy bar.
Table runners were black, sparkly spider-web patterned fabric over a deep orange table cloth (it actually looked really classy – wish I had a picture)!!
Her tables were named after horror movies.

Definitely have a candy/sweets table! They can double as dessert and favors!
