I’ve found some that may be more your liking on overstock ranging between $400-$770 they are all 1/2 ct and between 10k -14k white gold i believe. 459.99

400.34

503.99

769.99

You can try etsy also. Hope this helps!!

Welcome! I have a halo with a smaller center diamond. I’m a 6.5 ring size for reference. Hope this helps 🙂

Another place to look would be the “recently purchased” section on blue Nile and brilliant earth! I don’t have a ring like this but those places can give you an idea of what different sized stones look like in settings you lile!

I’m definitely the same way! I like really simple things, and didn’t want a big extravagant ring. Here is a picture of my ring – .54 carat center stone, .5 carat half-eternity band, white gold, size 7.75 finger. I personally love the look of smaller halos, they look so dainty and delicate, and I’m just not a fan of chunky jewelry. I tried on some rings with 1 carat center stones and thought they were a little too ostentatious/opulent for me.

My rings are a size 6, and .83 tcw. The setting is low, which I love. They feel very dainty but they’ve still got a lot of sparkle.

futuremrsdeemac:  absolutely love your ring! Are you sure your centre stone is .50?? It looks so much bigger in this photo! I’ll be getting my halo ring with a .50 centre stone within the next month   and I’m hoping mine looks as beautiful as yours!!

Do you know what size the diamonds are in the halo?

🙂

I with you, I much prefer halos with small centre stones versus the big giant ones. I think this site can be deceiving sometimes when it comes to what’s normal or popular in rings! It could be that the women with large rings post pictures of them more??

There is also a good amount of variation in the size of the halo (meaning the thickness of it, as well as a possible gap between the ring and the halo). I personally think a thin halo looks better but everyone has a different opinion on this. I don’t have a photo for you but I’m looking at getting a .05 to .75 ct pear with a thin halo, with a peach-pink centre stone (sapphire?).

I believe mine is a .60 centre stone and 1.3TCW. Gives off lots of sparkle with the double halo! Size 7.5 (which is actually too big – I’m a 7 but haven’t bothered to size it)

MatildaFae:  Thank you so much! Yep, the center stone is definitely .5 carats. I know that the shank and halo are about .5 carats so I’m guessing that the diamonds in the halo alone are probably .25 carats. I think small surrounding diamonds and tiny prongs help the center diamond shine.

Everyone’s rings look gorgeous! It’s nice to see some halo rings with stones under 1ct. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one with a smaller center stone 😉

Maybe not exactly what you were looking for, but mine is a 0.5 ct cushion on a size 6.

When we were looking, I tried on several Gabriel & Co rings that were dainty halos and they were gorgeous. (http://www.gabrielny.com/engaged/styles?style=Halo). Definitely worth a look!
