I'm doing a micropave eternity band with my halo ring... the halo is raised, so the band sits flush.

The only thing I do know is that mine won't be curved to fit my e-ring, so there will be a pretty big gap. But I don't mind - I think it looks kind of cool that way. I'm just not personally a fan of the curved ones.

My halo is also raised so the band sits flush. It's not sold as a set but there is a band that matches my ring...it will be micropave as well

Mine is similar to this. My halo is also raised (tho not much) and I wanted kind of an estate ring look.

I'm doing the eternity band that matches the band on this ring. Not sold as a set but it is the only one that we have found that will lay low enough to fit under the halo-setting.  It is the Tiffany channel-set http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?sku=GRP00003&cid=288152&mcat=148204

I need to take a better picture of them, but I got two bands (one for each side) and they have little notches in them to fit around my halo on either side.  The best I can describe it is with a rudimentary keyboard "picture" below.  Picture it as though you're looking from the top down onto my bands.  Confusing, I know.  I'll take pictures of the bands themselves & post about them.

@PC: I had no idea that was Beyonce. I am so out of the pop music loop these days.

@FF: I asked Mr. Spaniel if I could get two rings to wear around my e-ring, and he laughed at me! It's a good thing I was actually joking (it was during a budget conversation), or I would have got kind of mad at him. ;)

My setting isn't raised but I don't think I want a curved band, or a gap. What a conundrum. I think I'm going to make a trip to the jeweller and see if I feel any differently about having a gap.

There is a matching band (curved) for my ring though I am considering just getting a plain ring from Cartiers or Tiffany's and just breaking out the engagement ring for when I go out.

I also went with the pave with millgrain to match my e-ring, it's slightly thinner than my e-ring band.  I don't think I ever really blogged about it other than it matched Mr. GB via pink diamond... oops!

@Hammie- I thought about that too!  I just can't get the ring to look right next to my engagment ring.

My diamond is set really tall for some reason and because of that I had a hard time finding a good band that won't be shadowed. I decided on a ring wrap that creates the halo effect.

ok, this might sound stupid, but what exactly is a "halo" ring?

I hated the matching one to my ring so I went with 2 mismatched ones! I wear my larger diamond eternity ring first, then my elicate micropaved wedder which sits flush under my e-ring, and then my e-ring! It feels most comfortable on my hand and it gives me that vintage feel... not all totally perfectly matched like alot out there! Sorry for the poor quality picture!! The eternity ring was origonally my commitment ring from my man, and it was intended as the wedder down the track, but didn't sit even close to flush with the e-ring! So it makes it even more special to wear all three on on my ring finger from my amazing man!
