@mrsnair:  You might want to look into the custom ring route. That is what we did as I don’t care for the gap look.

@Treejewel19:  OMG I’m in love with your ring!  That is absolutely beautiful!

@mrsnair:  I’m interested to see what people post, I have a halo setting on my e-ring and will be using my g-grandmothers wedding band so, like you, i don’t want to change that…but would love to get ideas!

@asianbarbie:  Thanks so much!

@mrsnair:  Thank you.

I see you are in San Francisco!!! That is where I got my ring. We had it made at French Jewelery at the Gift Center in downtown SF. They are amazing!

@mrsnair:  No, my mom hasn’t been able to part with my great grandmothers ring yet…so she’s holding onto it until we get closer to the wedding 🙁

Here’s my halo! I don’t have my wedding band in any of these pictures, but the band definitely sits flush because of the “floating” halo!

@mrsnair: the above halo is from Blue Nile, but it’s just an example of what the side view of a halo that allows a wedding band to sit flush would look like.

@mrsnair:  I agree with the lovely @Treejewel19. She’s a close ring twin to me, except I’m just going to have one wedding band (rather thick and very blingy) as opposed to her 2 stunners. We also went the custom route. If you’re set on the wedding band and center diamond, just bring them to a reputable jeweler and have them work your requirements and likes into a design.
