hi- i’m wearing a halter wedding dress and haven’t had much lucky finding a comfortable bra. so i’m thinking about having our seamstress sew in some bra cups, but i’m worried that since it’s backless, there won’t be enough support?
has anyone had experience with this?
this is the dress i’m wearing:

im wearing a halter dress too!
i bought a strapless bra with silicone strip which helps grip and stay up. plus my dress came with a strap that attaches to a bra that also helps it to stay up. this security strap can easily be added to a dress.
another option is to try nu-bra. i’ve heard great things about them.

I’m not a fan of bra cups, I think they always make your boobs look too pointy and weirdly fake.
I wore a halter as well. My problem was finding a bra that would could see from the front. My dress wasn’t really low cut, but overall bras kept showing the middle part. I found a bra that had convertible straps and a small clear plastic connector between the cups. It worked out perfect. I used one strap as a halter strap, and you couldn’t see the middle piece.

I wore that exact dress last year. I bought a plunge bra from Nordstrom and had it tacked to the dress, so it wouldn’t show. I had full support and I’m a well endowed lady. If you have any questions or what to see pics, email me [email protected].
