flowerofeden:  There is also a wedding show at the end of September I am planning to attend. I am sure you can find some great deals and vendors there 🙂

Flowers: Sue Gallo Designs. GORGEOUS but not cheap. She is at all the wedding shows.

Makeup and Hair: Rachel Renna. She comes to your house with a team of girls and is completely amazing. Great pricing too.

Photographer: Scott Williams (Capturing the Light Photography). Super nice guy and stays as long as he needs to to get all the shots.

You can just google an officiant. I wasn’t a fan of ours.

flowerofeden:  We were married in Burlington (Geraldo’s) and had Anne Blinch from White Orchid Wedding Officiants perform our ceremony and she was amazing!  She met with us twice and allowed us to completely personalize our wedding.  She really incorporated the personal things we discussed with her and the ceremony was beautiful.  Even a year later my extended family still mentions Anne and how lovely she was! I suggest you check them out.

Our wedding flowers were from Metro (yes the grocery store) and they were lovely.  Our total for the flowers was under $500 which was very reasonable.  With our centerpieces included with the venue we did not need to spend too much.

flowerofeden:  I think that people don’t realize that a lot of Metro stores have a full time professional florest on site.  I worked at a Metro years ago so I knew they did really good work so we decided to give it a try.  I am glad we did!

flowerofeden:  They have a Wedding booklet (with horrible photos) that outlines a package deal or you could ask the florest to price it individually.  I think it might be online as well.  We got a bridal bouquet, 3 maids bouquets, one jr maid bouquet,  5 cousages, 6 boutonnière, 1 throwaway bouquet, 2 medium size arrangements for the end of the aisle and rose petals for the cake table.  All of the bouquets were a range of different shades of pink roses with a wrapped handle and diamond accents.  One thing they did not provide was delivery.  My dad picked the flowers up in the morning and delivered to the venue and to the grooms hotel then back to us.

A family member is a florist based out of Milton but she caters to the GTA/Hamilton/Niagara area as well. If we were not doing a destination wedding, I would’ve gone with her as our florist.

flowerofeden:  We used Moments by Melissa Miller for our photography.  She’s out of Hamilton and she’s AMAZING!  http://www.momentsbymelissamiller.com

We used Pocket of Posies for our Flowers.  Samantha was fantastic.  She’s not right in Hamilton but she’s really close.  http://www.pocketofposies.ca

Officiant we went through Kettle Creek Weddings and it was great – Dean Kennedy.  Our Ceremony was perfect.

I won’t recommend our DJ, while the individual guy was great, the company itself left something to be desired.

Photographer: Katie Nicolle Photography – She was awesome and really reasonable.

We got our flowers at Whole Foods in Oakville – they were great.

DJ – I had a great DJ – William Vaz mainstream-entertainment.net.  He again was really reasonable in price and helped out a lot when things went bad at some points.
