Wow, that's awful! But you're right, at least it happened now and not at the wedding! I can definitely recommend our officiant if you need someone! Just PM me.

A while ago I tried to set up an appointment with Susan Turner of Weddings by Susan because of all of the favorable reviews on weddingwire. I spoke with her on the phone and she was very sweet. We set up a meeting at a local Barnes and Noble for a couple days later.
Fast forward to the day of the meeting...I was super excited to meet with her. She's done multiple weddings at my venue and was pretty reasonably priced. We showed up a few minutes early and looked around a little bit while we waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And waited some more.
I thought maybe she was late, but I didn't get a phone call saying she was late. I would have called her myself but I hadn't saved her number into my phone. Eventually (after about 45 minutes) we realized we'd been stood up so we left. I was so disappointed. Can you imagine if that had happened on our WEDDING DAY?? She did call me almost a month later to apologize, so I don't have anything against her at all. I just wanted to put this out there for any other brides considering her. She said she "forgot". Even though she's a nice lady, "forgetting" is not okay when it comes to a wedding.
