haha... im familiar w/these areas and theyre not in noVA so thats why ppl arent answering. theyre three hours south.
va beach is really touristy. she'll have lots of options--hotels and restaurants, etc. $$$
hampton has a convention center so there are hotels in that area. i have no suggestions for food because it's a lot of buffets and fast food. hampton is really southern to me and it's a real hometown feeling. $
norfolk is nice as well. there's a lot of military there. classic homes. old school feel to the city. $$

Hey Hive
A friend is getting married somewhere in this area (sorry, I am from NYC and I don't know how far apart these three places are but she's looking at all three). She is considering venues that require rentals (i.e. Harrison Opera House aka Miss Lamb's venue). Anyone know of good, reliable, and most importantly, affordable rental companies? Please list your suggestions and examples of their pricing.
