The majority of our guests receiving thank you cards are friends from church. We see them all on a weekly basis, so I’m wondering if it is appropriate or not to just hand deliver the cards to them?..
We hand delivered a couple invitations and I don’t think anyone minded, but I thought I should ask you guys first.

I would just mail them all to be safe.

For those who voted this is bad form, I would like to know why. I would consider hand delivering to be better than mailing them out, it’s more personal.

@AB Bride: I was thinking the same thing. Googling it, I found that hand delivery is found to be more personal & back in the day invitations and anything of importance would be hand delivered on a silver tray… as opposed to using the mailing system.
Idk.. I guess it’s more a matter of personal preference since most everything I found said mailed or hand delivered.

I have no problem hand delivering anything ettiquette-wise. My only concern if you’re handing it out after church on Sunday is that you be discreet about it unless you invited everybody.

@SapphireSun: We attend a pretty large church. Most everyone that we know we invited.. the other people there probably wouldn’t even notice since they’d have no clue who I was. lol

I don’t see the problem with it. You don’t have to worry about them getting lost in the mail and you can interact with them face to face.
