i printed address labels for my save the dates.

for my wedding invitations, the address was printed on the envelope with a printer using a fancier (but very readable) font.

I printed them on white address labels. I did that for both wedding/save the dates/ and wedding shower. It was SOOOO much easier and save me so much time. Plus the labels are fairly cheap at about 5-7 dollars.

I used printed labels for my STD.

For my wedding invites and inner envelopes, I printed on the envelopes with the help of my computer. Super easy and looked nice.

I printed the envelopes for my STD’s, and I used frosted labels for my invitations because my printer wouldn’t take my envelopes, otherwise I would have printed those, too.

I printed on envelopes.  I think that’s a little fancier than labels.  Save the Dates set the tone for your wedding, so if you are having a black tie formal wedding, I would print on envelope.  If it’s more casual, handwritten or labels are fine. 🙂

Badnesa49r:  I tried to print directly ony envelopes but it came out crooked- so I just addressed them by hand. I hope yours come out better than mine did!

We plan printing them on labels and doing it that way. My FI bought a program that allows for all of the invitees information to be in a spreadsheet, and it’ll do all of the work. We plan on using the program for other events we have where we need to address a bunch of envelopes.

Our RSVPs are postcards, so I had our address already printed on them.

I had my bridal party over and we had handwritten the addresses on the envelopes. Feels more personal imo.

We printed the addresses directly on the envelopes for both the STDs and invitations. This was done through a graphic artist/professional printer.

For our save the dates, we just wrote them on the envelope. For our wedding invites, I learned calligraphy and wrote the names and addresses with a gold ink and also used a wax seal with our initial (in gold) to seal the envelopes.

We printed the envelope for both STDs and the wedding invites. I never actually notice how they are addressed when we receive invites.
