I handed out STD’s to the bridal party. We were all hanging out together one weekend so I figured I would just hand them to each of them.

I handed out actual invites for our wedding. I think its more personal that way and I dont see anything wrong with it

I don’t see anything wrong with that at all. If you can why wouldn’t you? I wish I had that option!!

If it’s more convienent to hand them out since, you see them so often, then I would. It also saves you on postage, as that can cost depending on the complexity your invites.

I thought about it, with our local friends that we’re inviting, but I think I’ve pretty much settled on mailing them. I know, for me, I love getting non-bill mail and if it makes my friends happy to see something fun in their mailboxes, it’s worth the postage!

I handed out whichever ones I could to save on postage.  The invites, I will mail them all.

We hand delivered a lot of our STD’s to people we saw often (and most of whom we didn’t know their addresses), we tried to mail out invites but it was easier to hand deliver some (we have a few friends who are between houses so we didn’t know which place to send it to) to save getting returned mail.  I think it’s perfectly fine!
