I think that if he doesn´t mind using the material it is a great idea! It will look lovely and won’t cost you extra cash! What were you thinking of doing shapewise ?

I’m of two minds about this: First, I love the personal connection and I think that’s a really lovely favor. Second, personally, it would depend on the sculpture. If it was something abstract or organic/tree looking, I would like it. If it’s a woman dancing with a cat or something, no. I don’t like knick knacks, so I’m pretty particular about what I decorate my home with (mostly because I’m too lazy to dust).

I think it is sweet and personally would keep it, but I agree with Bakerella when she says that some people are really particular on what to decorate their houses with. So maybe some people would end up keeping them in a drawer or something.
That is a shame and waste of time and thoughtfulness. So maybe you should consider something people would use, like a paperweight, I don’t know. You could use them to decorate the tables at the same time!

I think it would work better as decoration. People have such differen styles and room for stuff like this even if they loved it.
