I love Hanky Panky and highly recommend them. It's worth the investment.
i think that for your wedding day you can splurge on the $20 undies.... VS (which i normally hate) did just come out with a line of similar one-size-fits-all underwear that is very similar. i actually find them to be very comfy but a bit big
Hanky Pankies are THE BEST! They are my everyday undies, and they are SOOOO comfortable.
(plus, if you buy them online you can personalize them with rhinestones!)
Uh-Oh I might be solo on this one - - I cannot stand hanky pankies - - I feel they have too much material and they end up bunching...I am short and and have a small front to back measurement (sorry TMI) so they're just too baggy for me....I do love me some Cosabella's and think they are totally worth their price...its your special day so yes splurge
Hanky Panky thongs are my life. I only ever wear other undies when it's that time of the month.
@jackie-o: you are legit the first person I have ever heard say they aren't obsessed with hanky pankys! you're entitled to your opinion of course, i'm just kind of in shock.
My grandmother (hehe) actually got me the Hanky Pany I Do undies. I haven't wore them yet but everyone swears by their comfort. I don't think $20 is a lot to spend since you want to make sure you are comfortable on your wedding day.
Jackie-O, have you tried the low rise ones? I had the same problem that you did with the "too much fabric" problem but the low rise ones fit me just fine.
There's similar ones from Gilly Hicks as well that I like that are probably comparable in price to the VS ones.
@miss root / kittyachi - - I don't mind the low rise t-shirt ones, I have a couple of those. Their lace panties have too much material and as a result end up kind of cutting into me (tmi, lol) I also have some of their boy shorts which is what I wear everyday
Love me some boy shorts - my favorite are Gap Body, they fit the best, lol
Love me some Hanky Panky. Comfortable as all get out and cute! True, they are expensive, but they last longer than other undies if you treat them right and are made of better materials.
They are seriously so comfy. Its as though you are not wearing anything.
Hanky Panky: LOVE them! I buy the low-rise. They stay put and are SUPER comfortable.
I think I'm a hanky panky virgin (tee hee). How does their sizing work? I'm looking at the boyshorts and was curious if they're similar to the VS sizing? True to pant size? I'm a 6 in Gap pants, so would that make me a Small?
I say, spend your money on confortable underwear on your wedding day. Nothing is more annoying than uncomfortable underwear... Don't economize on the underwear you'll regret it...
I've never heard of them before, but just looked at their website & products. They look idenitical to the undies I wear everyday...which I love...which I buy at Target :)
I LOVE HANKY PANKYS!
I can't really comment on the commando ones, but I've heard very good things. They were on Oprah! I don't think you can go wrong with either one, just depends on which texture you'd like better. I belive that the hanky pankys only come in the lace and the commandos come in a smooth texture.
Goldilocks1107: Hanky Panies are pretty much one size fits all, though you can choose the rise... here's the website: www.hankypanky.com
I never wore hanky pankies, but I do like the lacey thong in general. I also find the VS one size fits all to be a bit big on me, but not awful. Actually (TMI ahead) I wore some to bed because I thought we were going to have some "fun time" but then we didn't, so I decided I was going to change into regular panties, and when I did, i found the lacey thong was more comfortable than the other pair that kept giving me a wedgie!
i just had a pair of undies from VS that said "Bride" on the butt in blue font.
I'm in the minority here, but I hated them. I agree with @Jackie-O - too much material. Bunchy and uncomfortable. My FI actually laughed when I tried them on and told me to find something more flattering ;)

Is anyone familiar with either Commando Underwear or Hanky Panky? I want to buy some "invisible" underwear for the wedding day but am hesitant to drop $20 per pair. Recommendations for other brands is appreciated.
Thanks!
