Happy Australia Day! Is it pouring with rain for anyone else?

Its gonna be a hot 35deg in Radelaide today!!!
Happy Australia Day to my fellow Aussies! I may be an Aussie by marriage but I've lived here on and off since 2007 so I consider myself an Aussie, despite the strong American accent! :-)
@Blue-Bird: I'm in QLD so yep, similar forecast here. It's clear now so hoping the rain holds off long enough for us to go to a sausage sizzle and fireworks on the beach tonight!
@ccranetobe: I LOVE that Telstra ad!! When I first left Australia, I used to watch it online all the time and get teary eyed, thinking how awesome Oz is! Now it makes me cry because of that part where the new parents share their baby's cry over the phone with the grandma far away - that's going to be me in June when our first bub arrives and all my family is in the States! Ah darn these hormones!

Happy Australia Day! I'm living in Canada, so far away from my Aussie friends. :(
They're getting quite a bit of rain where I'm from and apparently they've even closed the beaches, so looks like there's not going to be any BBQ's or cricket this year. Oh well, at least they can enjoy a meat pie and a few beers under some shelter!

Listening to the triple J's hottest 100 and the barbie is in fullswing. In true aussie style there is a blowup kiddy pool with 4 adults sitting in it atm having a bevvie.

@Novella: Sydney? The humidity is KILLING ME!!!!!!!! The sun came out for a few blessed minutes, but mostly its been shit all day.
Yay Hottest 100 was amazing! My fav song was no 1 (not that was a great surprise) but usually I hate the no 1 song.

Eeek it reached 42degrees here today (107F) and it is still currently 27 degrees at 8pm blah hahaha

Happy Australia Day Bees! It was a lovely 25 degrees in Ballarat. I actually didn't leave the house all day. I spend it working on assignments and mediating between feuding friends. Very un-Australian. :P
Happy Australia Day, Aussie Bees!! I just got back from Big Day Out and it was AWESOME! So glad it wasn't a total rainout, like they predicted. 
Hope everyone stayed dry today!
Happy Australia Day! I went to a big family BBQ and then crashed as soon as I got home and slept for 3 hours! haha. I'm glad everyone had a wonderful day.
To those in Perth/WA I'm sorry about the 40+ heat. My family are there and apparently they're melting even now.
And to those with rain, take care and be careful! It's flooding about an hour away from me so I hope everyone stays dry! =D
