This is kinda random, but I'm just curious!
Is anyone's wedding on or near your birthday? How about your fiance's?

Yep, we got married the day after my husband's birthday. I don't love it because now those two special days are back to back, but it was the only day our venue had available in the months we wanted.....
Not our wedding day -- but our engagement day is his birthday, that's how he was able to throw me off track so much!!
I know my fiance's father's birthday is the day after their wedding - his mom says it's so that if he forgets their anniversary then she will just have to "forget" his birthday :)
Yep our wedding is 8 days before FH's birthday... we're celebrating on our honeymoon with a nice dinner :)
I'm thinking of maybe doing Happy Birthday @ the wedding, but I think that would embarrass him too much.
Our wedding is about one week before my bday. I dont love that our anniverary and my birthday will be so close-- we have already discussed that they are two entirely separate occasions and will not regularly get combined, unless we wont be celebrating his either!! As a teacher, I wanted the summer, and my birthday is smack in the middle of the summer. It was going to be close no matter how we figured it out.
We're getting married right around both of our birthdays... though 18 days after mine!
Nope but it's the day before my Dad's birthday. I'm thinking of asking his girlfriend to secretly bake a cherry pie (his fav) to give to him during the reception.
Our wedding is four days before my birthday. I've already carefully explained to FI, who grew up not celebrating birthdays, that these are to remain separate, special occasions ;)
My birthday is 3 days before the wedding and my Fi's is 3 days after. One reason we chose our date is because he wanted to eat cake for a whole week straight every year!
My cousin just scheduled her wedding for her birthday. She didn't want to but it was the only day she could work around other family members travels. Now she will only get one gift every year.
It's aroung both of our birthdays! :) His birthday is 2 weeks before mine, and mine is 6 days before our wedding anniversary! Personally, I like that they are close. It gives us a better excuse (3 in fact!) to do something big like a trip!
Our wedding is in the middle of both our birthdays. My birthday is in July, the wedding is in August, FI's B-day is in Sept.
our wedding day is my grandmother's birthday!
I plan to embarass her by singing happy birthday towards the end of the night! :-)
Wedding is 4 days before my birthday... was a little disappointed because I was always planning throw a huge blowout for my 29th birthday on 09/09/09 but I guess I'm getting married instead! :)
I am not sure what close is, but our engagement date was on my birthday and our wedding day is exactly one month from my birthday.
No I am not concieted that is just how it worked out ;)
Our wedding day is his niece's 5th birthday. I'm not sure what we'll do for her yet.
Our winter wedding will be right in the middle of both of our birthdays. His birthday is on the same day in December as mine is in January.

@ all: Haha, thanks for sharing! Birthdays near the "big day" seem like such a fun way to add extra festiveness to a wedding!
Ours is 1 week before my FI's birthday. I actually wanted it ON his birthday, because I'm terrible with dates and want to remember as few of them as possible. He nixed that idea, though. He was afraid the anniversary would mean presents for me, nothing for him. He was probably right.

My Wedding is also my Brother's 30th birthday. I plan to have a cake for him at our reception and a special polka dance for him. Since we have polish heritage, and it isn't a polish wedding unless you play a polka. :)
Our wedding will be on my dad's birthday and 10 days before my birthday. (My FI was able to surprise me by proposing the night before my last birthday.) For me it'll just be one more thing to celebrate on our honeymoon :) My FI doesn't exactly like it this way though cuz he knows there are 2 big dates in May, but now has a hard time keeping them straight.
Yep...Our wedding is May 2nd and my birthday is the Wednesday before, on April 29th. Sounds funny, but I didn't even realize how close the two were until after the date had already been set. My fiance and I agreed (more like I TOLD him) that they were entirely separate, and that I'd rather do a bigger celebration for my birthday in the future. (with the exception of big anniversaries)

Our wedding will be on one of my bridesmaid's birthday. I think we may just have to sing to her :)
Our wedding will be two days after my 26th birthday! We didn't plan it that way, it just worked the best for our chosen venue/fiancee's job. But I let him know he doesn't get away with only one gift! 
Our wedding will be one month before my birthday, but I refused to move it any closer, since my fiancee has gotten a free pass on remembering our valentine's day anniversary for the past five years! :) He's going to have to start remembering a random day; no cheats! :)

OUR WEDDING IS ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!
we choose it that way because we're having a 'destination wedding' (at my hometown) and the day before is Labor's Day in Mexico, so it's perfect because our guests will have the day off to travel.
so, my FH thinks he only has to give me one gift each year hahahahaha, keep dreaming babe 
On my FH's dad's birthday and two days after FH's birthday! Not ideal by any means, but we chose the date based on our schedules and didn't have a choice! We REALLY wanted to get married on our dating/engagement anniversary (several months later) - it would have been a Saturday too :( But we decided we'll just keep celebrating that as our anniversary instead, so we'll see how that works out!
Mr. Spin's sister got married on their grandmother's birthday. We all sang Happy Birthday during the reception. It was very sweet. :)
My wedding is 11 days after my bday. I'm not worried about FI trying to combine them though... his bday is less than 2 weeks before Christmas, and I've always kept them separate, so he's promised to treat my birthday and our anniversary with the same respect :)

We'll be on our honeymoon when I celebrate my birthday, which is 9 days after our wedding.
We got married on my FIL's birthday. FIL+MIL got married on FIL's father's (grandpa's) birthday. Grandpa was much-loved, and FIL was touched by his son wanting to make a tradition out of this.

It's not close to either of ours , (we're born 27 days apart) summer in fl = hotter than hades!! buuuuuut it's exactly 1 day before BIL's and 8 before my nieces , lots of celebrating!!
We have a lot of birthdays right around our date! Mine is 12 days after, his sister's is 1 day before, and one of his best friend's is the day after. His mom's is the same month, too :). I'm excited to celebrate on our honeymoon!
We changed our date and now it's in the middle of his brother and SIL's birthdays (5 day span)! They are fine with it even though FBIL may be flying home on his birthday, but he assured me he doesn't mind- I felt bad! We'll have to sing Happy Birthday at our reception dinner to both of them. :)

Our wedding was last Saturday (the 6th) and my birthday was Thursday (the 10th)! Makes it easier for the husband to remember!
Ours isn't, but my parents' wedding was! They got married on March 7th, then on the 12th was my dad's birthday, and on the 20th was my mom's birthday. March is one long month of celebrating for them!
Next year is their 30th anniversary, and it's just over one week after my wedding, so I'm thinking about including something in their honor at the reception, but I haven't come up with anything yet...
our wedding day is 3 days before my birthday. we're planning to celebrate the entire july 4th weekend with family and friends. then, after the guests have left we'll have a quiet romantic day on my birthday.

Our wedding is in Septebmer and there are a lot of weddings that month! Between our bridal party and immediate family there are about 6 b-days within a few weeks of our date. I have decided that the best way to recognize everyone (but not distract anything from us on our wedding day) was to have a surprise b-day cake at rehearsal dinner since all of these people will be there. I think it will be special to celebrate them since they will all be there to celebrate us!
MexicanGirl, we're getting married on my birthday. My FI thinks it will keep me from forgetting our anniversary. ;-)
